Young coconuts contain more water (up to 500ml) and soft, jelly-like meat — perfect for drinking. Mature coconuts have thicker, firmer meat with less water, ideal for cooking or oil production.

Keep fresh coconuts in a cool, dry place. For longer freshness, store them in the refrigerator. Once opened, consume the water and meat within 1–2 days for best taste.
